MEET MS. KAHLER
Hello! My name is Karen Kahler, and I am the 3rd/4th grade TOSA at Vibrant Minds Charter School. The scholars all call me Ms. Kahler.
I am half Japanese and was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan. I attended a K-12 International School there until I moved to California to attend university. I received my Bachelor's degree in Integrated Educational Studies, Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and teaching credential from Chapman University. I previously taught at another charter school in Anaheim before going to work as Assistant Director for ICON School Management, which is the company that provides back office support for Vibrant Minds. That's how I got to meet and work with Dr. Schroeder! My passion and love for teaching never diminished and I knew I wanted to teach again, which is how I found my way to Vibrant Minds. I am so happy to be here supporting all scholars and sharing my love for learning! I mainly provide reading intervention support to the 3rd and 4th grade scholars, and also act as the resident substitute in those grades. Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my friends and play volleyball. I also enjoy relaxing at home while watching my favorite shows and playing both board games and video games. Let's make this a great year! Contact me at: kkahler@vibrantminds.us |
