MEET MRS. MONTANEZ

Hello! I am Melissa Montanez, the 4th grade teacher at Vibrant Minds Charter School. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelor's Degree in Music, USC with a Master's in Music, and then I returned to CSULB for my teaching credential. I have a passion to teach, no matter the subject. And, I can't wait to share my enthusiasm for life-long learning with your scholars. 

This year we will continue to work on reading fluency, reading comprehension, writing, mathematics, investigative science, California history, and so much more. 
 
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my very own 3rd grader, my 1st grader, and my husband. I love to practice yoga, and I sing  professionally when I am able.
