DRESS FOR SUCCESS
Wearing the Vibrant Minds Charter School (VMCS) uniform is required. The intent is to dress in a manner that contributes to school spirit, promotes school safety, and permits physical activity. The only exceptions to the dress code include wearing the Labrador Spirit Shirt on Fridays and participating in special dress-up days. These events will be clearly communicated and posted on the school calendar.
TOPS
Royal blue polo shirt (short or long sleeves)
Optional while long sleeve shirt underneath polo shirt
School logo on polo shirt
Spirit Shirt may be worn on Fridays
Tops should be an appropriate length
BOTTOMS
Khaki or navy blue shorts, skort, skirt, jumper, or pants
Shorts or tights are to be worn under skirt or jumper
Bottoms should fit well around the waist
Bottoms should be at least fingertip length
Blue denim (no holes or rips) may be worn with Spirit Shirt on Fridays
OUTWEAR
Royal blue pull-over or zippered sweatshirt with logo
Royal blue jackets with logo
This is the recommended outerwear
TOPS FOOTWEAR
Tennis shoes
HATS
Baseball or knit caps with logo that do not impair vision
Only to be worn outside
FASHION DON'TS
No shirts without collars, except for Spirit Shirt
No accessories that may pose a safety hazard
No high heels or open-toed shoes
Clothing for uniform bottoms can be purchased at many stores, including Amazon, Target, Children's Place, Kohl's, J.C. Penney, Old Navy, and Sears. The school will stock VMCS polo shirts, Spirit Shirts, and baseball/knit caps with the school's logo for purchase at cost. This is not a school fundraiser. We will also stock the school emblem that can be applied to tops purchased elsewhere.
