PROGRAM INFORMATION

Vibrant Minds Charter School has assumed responsibility over the ASES (After School Education and Safety) Program, which is funded by the State of California and previously overseen by GOALS Incorporated. Our ASES Program operates Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm when school is in session. Scholars participating in our ASES funded program are expected to be able to participate in the program for the designated 15 hours per week, unless they participate in additional enrichment programs/organizations (sports, religious, performance, etc.). This is not a childcare, drop-in program.

Our program seeks to work diligently to turn our scholars' interests and talents into strengths. It is for this reason that our scholars will continue to have a variety of opportunities to work with school, program, and community mentors during program hours. There will be significant emphasis serving our scholars through Project-Based Learning and the collaborative process this cultivates (another reason consistent attendance will be imperative to the success of the program).

As we plan for the 2021-2022 school year, below are some updates and reminders for you to keep in mind:

• Please send your scholar with a water bottle, sweater or jacket for the cooler evenings with his/her name on the label.
• Monday through Friday, a free snack will be distributed to your scholar.
