MEET MS. MARIANO

Hi, my name is Kiana Mariano and the scholars call me Ms. Mariano.

I am starting my fourth year of teaching and could not be more excited. I started my teaching journey in fifth grade, then moved down to first, and I am now in Kindergarten! Every grade is very different and that is what I love about elementary school!

​I received my bachelor's degree in liberal studies from LBSU and then got my master's and credential from CSUF. I hope to one day get my doctorate to focus on the science of reading. 

When I am not teaching, I love to travel, read books, listen to Taylor Swift, and practice yoga. I am certified in yoga, but have not taught a class since the pandemic. I love to incorporate my love for yoga and dance into the classroom as much as possible! I am excited for my first year here at VMCS!
