MEET MS. RODRIGUEZ
iBienvenidos! Welcome to our class and 5th grade at Vibrant Minds Charter School! My name is Ms. Rodriguez, and I am very excited about our year ahead. I anticipate a great year filled with explorations and accomplishments. Our classroom community will be grounded in mutual respect, an inclusive environment that invites all questions, and a passion to make learning a life-long adventure. Part of my goal as an educator is to spark curiosity in the minds of scholars through a hands-on, real world application approach.
Allow me to introduce myself. I began pursuing a career in education by attending the University of California, Riverside, where I received an undergraduate degree in Dance. Afterwards, I received a teaching credential and a Masters in Teaching and Bilingual Authorization in Spanish at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. PHEW!
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, dancing, playing my guitar (Tangerine), and spending time with friends and family. I have a furry pet named Roscoe. He is a goofball! I call him my personal trainer because he helps me stay ACTIVE! Traveling is also a pastime I enjoy immensely. This summer, I had the opportunity to travel to my couch everyday while ordering takeout and rewatching childhood films on Disney+. #Staycation. Most of all, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors! So far, I have visited three national parks! I enjoy sharing with scholars my experiences, photos, and knowledge about various places I have visited.
I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventures! In the weeks and months ahead, we will experience mathematics hands-on, investigate the world of science, discover our nation’s history, delve into our imaginations through literature, and much more. I know that this will be a time full of learning, not only for you, but for me as well!
I welcome any questions, comments, or concerns you may have and can be best reached by email at arodriguez@vibrantminds.us.
Cheers to year 5!
